2025 MCA TEST RESULTS ARE IN!

The Minnesota Comprehensive Assessments (MCAs) are yearly state-mandated tests that measure student achievement in reading, mathematics, and science (Science results are not available until October 1st). The MCAs are based on the Minnesota Academic Standards, which outline what students should be able to do and know at each grade level. Students are tested in reading in 3rd through 8th and 10th grades, in math in 3rd through 8th and 11th grades, and in science in 5th, 8th, and 10th grades.
In reading, all grades combined averaged 24.4% above the MN state average.
State Average in Reading: 49.6% Proficient. Hancock Average in Reading: 74.0% Proficient.
2024 Hancock Average in Reading: 70.3% Proficient. (+3.7%)
In math, all grades combined averaged 27.9% above the MN state average.
State Average in Math: 45.2% Proficient. Hancock Average in Math: 73.1% Proficient.
2024 Hancock Average in Math: 71.4% Proficient. (+1.7%)
