Hancock Public School hosted its annual Spelling Bee on Wednesday, January 14th. There were 20 participants in this year’s competition.

Congratulations go to Talula Bailey, an eighth-grade student and daughter of Joel and Bev Bailey, who earned first place.

The runner-up was Elsie Beyer, an eighth-grade student, daughter of Dan and Becky Beyer.

We would like to recognize all participants for an outstanding job and for representing Hancock Public School so well!

Talula will advance to the Regional Spelling Bee in Fergus Falls on February 17th. Hancock Public School wishes her the best of luck!
