Throughout the school year, Hancock coaches and staff of each activity will select one student to acknowledge not only students’ athletic  and artistic achievements, but also the sort of exceptional character traits — perseverance, integrity, selflessness and sportsmanship — that make them leaders on the field, on the stage, in the classroom and throughout their communities.

The February Girls Basketball Athlete of the Month is Abigail Nuest.  Abby is a senior and the daughter of Chad and Kalee Nuest.

The February Boys Basketball Athlete of the Month is Eli Mattson.  Eli is a sophomore and the son of Mark and Lori Mattson.

The February Wrestling Athlete of the Month is Jacoby Burnett.  Jacoby is an eighth grader and the son of Matthew and Cari Burnett.

The February Artist of the Month is Lydia Rechtzigel.  Lydia is a senior and the daughter of Matt and Ann Rechtzigel .
