Throughout the school year, Hancock coaches of each activity will select one student athlete to acknowledge not only students’ athletic achievements, but also the sort of exceptional character traits — perseverance, integrity, selflessness and sportsmanship — that make them leaders on the field, in the classroom and throughout their communities.

The October Volleyball Athlete of the Month is Diana Rodriguez.  Diana is a senior and the daughter of Ricardo and Carmen Rodriguez Cid.

The October Football Athlete of the Month is Winston Schaefer.  Winston is a senior and the son of Tim and Kristin Schaefer.
