• Students are encouraged to ride their assigned school bus to and from school whenever possible.
• Elementary students are dismissed to their buses beginning at 2:55 PM.
• High School students are dismissed at 3:13 PM.

• Parents must provide a note or an email to their child’s homeroom teacher if their child is not riding the bus.
• Bus routes are posted on our website: hancock.k12.mn.us
• Parents picking up their children should enter through the MAIN DOORS.
• If your child will be dismissed in a way other than their assigned bus, please provide a written note explaining the alternate procedure.
  If no note is provided, students will be placed on their assigned bus.
• If dismissal plans change during the school day, parents must notify the main office by calling 320-392-5621 at least 1 hour prior to the end of the school day.

• Elementary students who drive or are dropped off should use the MAIN ENTRANCE.
• Grades 7-12 students who drive or are dropped off should use the HIGH SCHOOL ENTRANCE (door east of the main doors).
• Bus riders will use the EAST ENTRANCE.

To ensure a smooth start to the school year, all students in grades 7-12 will report directly to their homeroom assignments upon arrival at school. Please review the following details and share this information with your child:
