Jill (Koehl) Steiner graduated from Hancock Public Schools in 1986. She attended South Dakota State University and received a bachelor of science degree in nursing in May 1990. She is married to Jeff Steiner. They have 3 children, Andrew (Kathryn), Leah (Rob Bahler), and Tess and 3 beautiful grandchildren. She has been the school nurse at Hancock since September 2011.
Jill is at the school on a part-time basis. Some of her duties include hearing & vision screenings, reviewing student immunization compliance with the MN state immunization laws, screening for periodic lice concerns, and growth & development talks. She also sets up the medication needs and protocol for students with ADHD, asthma, diabetes, food allergies, etc.
