Hancock hosted their annual speech meet on Tuesday, March 6, 2018.
The small, but mighty Hancock Speech Team all placed at the event.
7th grader Cody Moon took 6th place in the Humorous category and Sophomore Parker Schmidgall took 4th place in the same Humorous category. This was the first year Cody Moon has been in speech. Parker Schmidgall has been in speech for four years now.
First time speech participant, 8th grader Itzel Sanchez, took 3rd in the Creative Expression category.
Veteran Nadine Miller, a Hancock Junior, took 2nd in the Original Oratory category. This is Nadine’s third year in speech and the first time in this category.
Overall, the Hancock Speech team did well and really impressed their coach Ms. Cari Gebro!
